In all nine Fundamentul Bench Marks and one hundred and fifteen Bench Marks were valued during the year.

31. Levels were taken across Lyemun Pass. Fifty observa- tions, 25 froin each side were taken at different times of the day.

Reciprocal levelling was carried out across the harbour from the Praya near Queen's Pier to the sea wall near Kowloon Railway Station Clock Tower.

A full description of these operations will be given in the report on the "Levelling of Hong Kong." and is therefore not provided in this report.
